Minot, N.D. – The North Dakota Department of Health has reported that the active coronavirus cases are as low as they were last year when the pandemic first began.

The officials are seeing overall less COVID in the community.

But, still, nobody cannot predict when the pandemic will be declared over.

Health officials both in North Dakota and across the U.S. said it’s still too early to say the pandemic is over.

Other countries like India, Taiwan, and Uganda are dealing with a surge in COVID-19, including a different variant Delta, which is more transmittable.

This story will be updated with the latest COVID-19 Updates. Stay safe.
