A 15-year-old boy accused of bringing a gun to Williston Middle School has been arrested and charged

WILLISTON, N.D. — According to the statement, Williston Police Department officers responded to a call around 1:25 p.m. Wednesday.

The officers responded to a report of a weapon on school property.

When the officers arrived on scene, they found a firearm in a backpack.

During the incident Williston Middle School and Bakken Elementary School were placed on lockdown.

No injuries were reported.

This incident is under investigation.
