GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The grant comes through a Health Center Cluster grant from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration, and was announced in news releases from Sens. John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer, R-N.D. The grant funding will be used to bolster Spectra Health’s response to the pandemic, while acting as an investment in its infrastructure.

“We deeply appreciate the support of this historic federal investment in the health and wellness of our local communities,” said Mara Jiran, Spectra Health CEO. “This one-time funding aids Spectra Health to respond to immediate COVID needs, including COVID testing and vaccination, as well as to recover from the immense impacts from the pandemic and to invest in the future of integrated healthcare.”

Spectra is a community health center that works to make healthcare available for local residents. The clinic offers medical, dental and behavioral health services. Spectra Health is located downtown in Grand Forks, and in Larimore.
