Free meal sites announced for Bismarck youth this summer

BISMARCK, N.D. – The free summer meal program for kids 18 and under is returning to Bismarck.

The USDA has granted several waiver extensions that will carry through to the 2021-2022 school year, including free meals for all students until June 30, 2022.

The meals will be served during the summer at various parks and schools throughout Bismarck to all individuals 18 and younger at the following dates and times:

Grimsrud, Will-Moore, Liberty, Lincoln, Sunrise, Murphy, Solheim, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., from June 7 – July 19.

Custer Park in Bismarck, JayCee, Sertoma, Wachter Wave Pool, Sons of Norway, and Hillside, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., June 7-July 16.

No meal service on July 5.

Meals will also be served at all middle and high schools.
