The North Dakota Department of Health confirmed 162 new cases of COVID-19 in the state

Minot, N.D. – According to the health officials, the new cases are bringing the state’s total to 112,560.
The number of active cases stands at 759.
No deaths were reported on August 9.
A total of 1,542 people have died so far in North Dakota as a result of COVID-19.
23 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
A total of 4,426 people have been hospitalized since pandemic record-keeping began in March 2020.
