Minot police investigate burglary at southwest jewelry store

Minot, N.D. – The Minot Police Department is investigating a burglary reported at a jewelry store in southwest Minot.

Officers responded at about 12:20 a.m. on Dec. 26, 2025, after security staff reported possible signs of a break-in.

Police said the store’s security gate appeared to have been altered and display cases were uncovered. Officers found damage to at least one display case during their initial investigation.

Investigators believe the burglary occurred between approximately 1:06 a.m. and 1:13 a.m. on Dec. 25.

While preliminary estimates indicate the loss may be significant, the total value of stolen property has not yet been confirmed.

Police said the investigation remains ongoing. Photos of two suspects and a suspect vehicle have been released.
